Received her B.Arch in architecture from Bursa Uludağ University, Faculty of Architecture, in 2002. Earned her MSc. and PhD. degrees in Conservation of Cultural Heritage from Faculty of Architecture, at Middle East Technical University, in 2008 and in 2015 respectively. Major research interests include rehabilitation and conservation of historic urban areas, theory of reconstruction, use of advanced digital technologies in conservation of cultural heritage, and urban history studies of Ottoman Cities.
